Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Corporation has been constituted as per Section 4(1) of the Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Act, 2000. It includes the Minister of Water Conservation (ex-officio Chairperson) and the Minister of State for Water Conservation (ex-officio Vice-Chairperson), along with ten non-government members and twelve government members.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the Corporation has been constituted as per Section 5(1) of the Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Act, 2000. It includes the Minister of Water Conservation (ex-officio Chairperson) and the Minister of State for Water Conservation (ex-officio Vice-Chairperson), in addition to five government members.

Board of Directors

As per Section 19(1) of the Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Act, 2000, the Board of Directors has the authority to grant administrative approval, revised administrative approval, and acceptance of tender.

Executive Committee

  1. According to the resolution passed under Subject No. 6 (11/2001) at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation held on 17.10.2001, the authority to grant administrative approval, revised administrative approval, and acceptance of tender (based on prevailing schedule of rates) for works with an estimated cost up to ₹5 crore has been delegated.
  2. Subsequently, in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation held on 12.08.2008, through the resolution under zero hour subject No. 2 (32/2008), the Executive Committee was delegated the authority to grant administrative approval, revised administrative approval, and acceptance of tender for works with an estimated cost up to ₹10 crore.
  3. Later, in the 57th meeting held on 09.09.2019, as per Resolution No. 15, the Executive Committee was authorized to grant administrative approval, revised administrative approval, and acceptance of tender for projects with an estimated cost up to ₹25 crore.
